Cardi B Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charges, Could Face Years in Prison

In 2018, it was revealed that Cardi B was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, along with assault and reckless endangerment. The charges come from an incident that she allegedly ordered, where two bartenders were at the Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York was attacked. The two bartenders who are sisters claim Cardi had issues with one of the sisters, Jade, alleging that she slept with her husband Offset. Now, Cardi has pleaded not guilty to all charges, according to reports.

The Bronx superstar was given the chance to plead guilty to third-degree assault in exchange for a conditional discharge. Cardi’s case will move to trial if an agreement is not made beforehand at her next hearing, on Monday in Queens. Cardi B is facing up to four years in prison if found guilty.
