Donald Trump is worth $2.5 billion but is still no longer one of the 400 richest people in the United States.

In Forbes’ annual list of the 400 richest people in the country, the former President of the United States failed to make the list for the first time in 25 years. The reality TV star reportedly fell $400 million short of what it would’ve taken for him to make the list.

While Trump was ranked 339th last year, he was “down $600 million” this year. The majority of Trump’s wealth comes from big-city properties, which have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic while technology stocks have flourished.

Jeff Bezos tops this year’s list with $201 billion. Rounding out the top five are Elon Musk ($190.5 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($134.5 billion), Bill Gates ($134 billion), and Larry Page ($123 billion). Forbes also reported that the total wealth of the individuals on its list jumped 40% since last year’s list, totalling a combined $4.5 trillion.
