Supporters of Nicki Minaj and her stance on COVID-19 vaccines congregated outside the CDC headquarters in Atlanta to defend the rapper’s comments.
“Nicki Minaj told the truth to me! Fauci lied to me!” protestors chanted, aiming for infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci. “You know Fauci’s lying!”
The group called the efficacy of vaccines into question and praised Nicki for bringing this conversation to the fore. “Nicki, the queen of rap, stand up,” one protestor said. “Nicki multiple platinum plaques stand up and said, ‘I’m questioning the vaccine’ and we should all question this vaccine.”
